Meet Stella
Stella is a qualified Bowen Technique Therapist trained with the Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia, a Scar Therapy Practitioner trained in Sharon Wheelers Method, a certified mindfulness teacher, and holds Level 3 qualifications in Mental Health and in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology for Complementary Therapies (ITEC).
She is also trained in fascia-focused fitness through Moving Fascia® and is currently undertaking a Life Coaching Certificate at Warwick University, alongside advanced training in trauma-informed approaches with Tensegrity Medicine™.
Her work is rooted in over 20 years of exploring the body, movement and healing. Her journey began with a degree in Dance Studies, where she developed a fascination with anatomy and the intelligence of the human body in movement. In 2007, she was awarded a bursary to research the mind–body connection through dance. Following an early career in the arts, she has worked within Health and Social Care supporting people with complex needs for many years.
In 2014, she discovered Bowen Therapy and experienced its gentle yet powerful ability to support the body’s natural healing response.
She is currently developing her expertise in scar therapy, supporting clients in reducing tightness, discomfort and mobility restrictions caused by scars. After becoming a mother and navigating her own experiences of change and hormonal shifts, including living with PMDD, she developed a deep respect for the rhythms of women’s health and the relationship between physical, emotional and hormonal wellbeing. Her approach combines science, body awareness and a deep respect for each person’s unique capacity to heal.
Stella speaks Italian and English.
