Meet Rachel
[STARTING FEB 2026]
Rachel has worked as a Physiotherapist in the NHS for over 7 years, developing experience in a variety of specialities, from MSK to Orthopaedics, Learning Disabilities to Neurology and Acute Medicine. She found her calling in Women’s Health due to her passion for the empowerment of women through their maternity journeys. She specialised as a senior Physiotherapist in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy in February 2023 when she moved to Liverpool to lead and develop the pioneering Perinatal Pelvic Health Service (PPHS) at Whiston Hospital, as part of a Cheshire and Merseyside-wide scheme to improve the pelvic health of women during and after pregnancy. Certified through Mummy MOT®, she provides tailored treatments and rehab plans to enable women to feel supported, held, encouraged and confident in their postpartum recoveries. Rachel currently works part-time in the NHS as the Team Lead for Pelvic Health Physiotherapy at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston as well as treating patients privately and teaching yoga.
Rachel’s special interest is yoga and using this as a therapeutic modality. She trained as a 200-hour yoga teacher in 2018, then completed 300-hours of advanced training and an additional 100-hours of Antenatal Yoga. She has always been a holistic therapist in her style of physiotherapeutic practice and see the innumerable benefits of using yogic methods to improve patients’ wellbeing. Her MSc in Advanced Physiotherapy involved researching the use of Yoga Therapy in Physiotherapeutic practice for a treatment of chronic MSK pain.
